10/29/2018 0 Comments Event Photography AssignmentIn this weeks assignment, I decided to shoot event photography. I went with my family to trunk-or-treat in downtown Saline and decided to shoot some fun shots of people in costumes. This shoot took me out of my comfort zone and made me interact with people I may not know in order to shoot my photos. The light kept getting dimmer and dimmer outside, so I had to be quick with my shooting. I enjoyed this shoot, and it was my first "public" photography outing. "Prince Charming" f/2.8 - 1/200 sec. - ISO 320 Similar to last weeks photography assignment, I solely edited this image in photoshop. I've been trying to find my calling to editing and have been experimenting with my style of editing. I used layers and used things such as curves and gradient filters to give my image the look I wanted. I also continued with my use of color selections to emphasize specific things in the image. I also used the burn and dodge tools to help highlight and darken things within the picture. The main thing I want the viewer to focus on is the eyes, so that's what I tried to draw out. Here are the other nine photos I thought were good but not my best. I hope you enjoy them!
