10/22/2018 0 Comments Portrait Photography AssignmentWith this weeks photography assignment, I decided to divide the people/portrait photography into solely portrait photography. I brought back the use of the fairy lights for this weeks assignment because I liked how my last photos turned out with them. I will try something new next week, but I had this idea with this setting originally. The room again had to be dark, but I used some artificial lighting and held a lamp where I thought more light was needed, so I didn't need to bump up my ISO. I liked this shoot, and my sister and I had a lot of fun taking these photos! "Little Fairy" f/2.2 - 1/80 sec. - ISO 400 With this image, I solely edited it with photoshop. I have been practicing with some elements at home and decided to give it a shot. I used the color adjusting/balancing tool to take out some of the yellow in the image. Without any color balancing, the photo was very warm, and a harsh yellow tone was present on her face. I also used some color adjustments with the blues in her eyes and used tools such as the burn and dodge tools to draw the image into her eyes. Here are some of the other photos I took but didn't choose for my best. I hope you enjoy!
